This Wednesday we're planning on taking our boat up to Terrigal (approx 90 mins drive from Sydney) and diving the wreck of the ex-HMAS Adelaide. Sunk in 2011 as a dedicated divable artificial reef. It is now one of the best dive sites around Sydney. See the link below for more details on the wreck.

We'll be departing from Sydney at approximately 7 o'clock. Expecting to be at Terrigal by 9 o'clock. It's a short 10 minute boat ride out to the wreck. We're planning on 2 dives on the wreck. We'll be completing a surface interval inside the bay where it's a bit more comfortable. We have limited space in the ute. Ideally everyone can go in the 1 vehicle however if we have greater interest we'll organise car pooling.

Please note that this is a wreck dive, which involves a bit of an overhead environment. The shallowest point is about 15m. As such an Advanced certification and 20 dives are required for this activity. The wreck has been prepared for diving however, meaning that you can see daylight at all times. Therefore overhead training/certifications are not required.

You will also require a dive torch and each team will require at least 1 SMB/Spool. If you don't have either of those we can arrange them for you.

Because it is further from Sydney the trip will be more expensive than a normal boat dive. But it will be very fun.
